In short

Leutrim Miftaraj founded Innopulse Consulting GmbH in Zug in 2024 and designed the KYA method, the specification and the engine.

Profile

Leutrim Miftaraj is the founder and managing director of Innopulse Consulting GmbH in Zug, Switzerland. For more than ten years he has led IT projects and been responsible for business analysis for Swiss institutions, including federal agencies, supervisory and judicial authorities and infrastructure companies. Before founding the company in March 2024 he worked at Elca Informatik AG.

From this work he knows the question that is always asked about automated decisions in the end: who was allowed to do this, and where is the proof? KYA is his answer – an open method, a specification and an engine anyone can use. With Mandact he develops the commercial reference implementation.

Work on KYA

Education and way of working

Leutrim Miftaraj studied business administration at Bern University of Applied Sciences (bachelor's degree, 2015 to 2018) and completed a master's degree in business administration with a focus on innovation management at the Swiss Distance University of Applied Sciences (2021 to 2024). He is the author of the book “Identity Over Discipline”.

His way of working also shapes KYA: claims are proven, not asserted. Every version of the website passes a gate of automated checks, the verification profile is open, and the test vectors are public. Fixed rules apply to the verifier's neutrality, including toward its own reference implementation.

Why KYA

In projects for federal agencies, supervisory and judicial authorities and infrastructure companies, the same pattern keeps appearing: automation rarely fails because of technology, but because of the question of who initiated something and whether this can be proven. With AI agents, this question becomes more pressing, because software no longer just runs processes but acts on its own.

KYA is an attempt to give an open answer to this that is not tied to any vendor: a verification profile anyone can implement, and a public verifier that checks evidence neutrally.
