Principles
- Verify, don't rate. Presented evidence is verified, not agents or vendors.
- Free and without an account. Permanently, with no limit other than fair use.
- Local. Evidence does not leave the browser. No cookies, no tracking.
- Open. Engine, specification and test vectors are public.
- Honest. “Not checked” is never reported as “valid”.
- Versioned. Rules only change with a new policy version.
Relationship with the reference implementation
The commercial reference implementation comes from the same company. It is verified here by the same rules as any other implementation; references to it are marked as a note from the operator. How the separation works
Brand
The brand is KYA – Know Your Agent. The mark is the golden guilloche rosette on navy, the pattern that proves authenticity in the security printing of identity documents.
